Overview

This slide was previously presented to the TSC and provides a good overview.

• The key bit is that security has implications for all WGs to varying extents. As such it is a horizontal function that spans multiple WGs.

• Also: Security is very vast and generally somewhat vague. This WG intends to focus on very tangible security related work items (think firmware, TEEs, Linux kernel, toolchains etc) that feed into well defined use cases (think enabling a HW Secure Root-of-Trust reference HW (qemu) and SW implementation, or enabling a Confidential Compute reference HW (qemu) and SW implementation.
