We’re currently concerned with building, testing and distributing a select set of riscv64 binary wheels through RISE’s wheel_builder project. PyPi does not yet host riscv64 binary wheels and so, without the wheel_builder project, it is very difficult to install many of the most popular Python packages, like numpy, on riscv64 devices. Priorities

All the planning for this work is done using gitlab issues and milestones in the wheel_builder project. These are too numerous to reproduce here but it is worth listing our high level objectives for each 6 month period.
